1. Find the nearest neighbor
Every piece connects to its nearest surviving neighbor, regardless of color. A matching pair clears only when both pieces are each other’s nearest neighbor and their colors match, or either piece is a wild pearl.
2. Preview your move
Tap a movable piece, then an empty, unlocked pad. Pads have letters. Starting positions are not destinations. Preview the new position before committing.
3. Set off the chain
Press Set off chain. Matching pairs clear simultaneously. The remaining pieces find new neighbors, and another wave can begin. Crossed connection lines do not change the result.
4. Clear the board
Remove every piece within the move limit. You can undo a move or reset the level for free. There is no timer and losing a puzzle costs nothing.
A few twists along the way
- Anchors stay in place, but still connect and can clear.
- Wild pearls can match with any color when they form a mutual nearest-neighbor pair.
- Locked pads open after the number of pieces printed on them has cleared.
When you need a nudge
The opening levels guide you through the rules. Earn one hint for every ten levels completed for the first time. Replaying a completed level does not earn another hint. Optional hint packs are separate purchases.
Hints are stored on your device. They do not sync to another device or return through Restore Purchases.
